Patient Financial Services team as the
Reimbursement Analyst Compensation: generally, between $23.40-$28.05, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience
Location: The VIC (18110 SE 34th Street - Vancouver, WA 98683)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8a-5p
In this role, you will: identify, analyze, and resolve payor underpayments to ensure accurate reimbursement. Review contracts, evaluate claims and payments, and prepare/track appeals.
Key responsibilities: - Review payments against contracts, fee schedules, and reimbursement policies
- Identify underpayments and improper denials; prepare and submit appeals
- Analyze trends related to underpayments, CPT/HCPCS codes, and modifiers
- In collaboration with payer representatives, resolve reimbursement discrepancies

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-, or RHIT); AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A, or one of the relevant AAPC specialty-specific coding credentials preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in medical billing and collections or coding required.
- Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding and Correct Coding Initiatives (CCI) required.
- Epic EHR and Experian Contract Manager experience preferred.
- Knowledge of government, commercial, and third-party insurance contract practices and the claims processing procedures preferred.
- Must have demonstrated competence with computer systems including electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Ability to interpret insurance medical policies and procedures.
- Experience working in a medical office setting required, with demonstrated understanding of standard insurance reimbursement methodologies.

Pay Range:
$22.98 - $32.17
