Lead Urgent Care RN! As a
Lead Urgent Care RN, you will execute daily workflows, deliver high-quality clinical outcomes, and provide exemplary patient care. It is expected that the daily work of the Lead Urgent Care RN will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities .
Hiring range: between
$44.95-$57.25/hour, and placement in the range is based on evaluation of experience: :
Differentials Available: Sunday ($2.50/hour), Evenings (after 5: 30p, $3.00/hour)
Beginning of the Week, Late Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 12: 30p-11: 30p ( will transition to schedule after successful completion of full-time training - training schedule to include day/evening/weekend hours )
Responsibilities include: - Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol
- Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.
- Reassign staff to meet the needs of the day and coordinate cross-site, as necessary.
- Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.
- Act as the first level, "go to person" for the providers and staff regarding troubleshooting issues. Act as a mentor, role model, and resource for co-workers.
- Assist manager with provider schedules, coordinating vacation requests and sick calls to ensure appropriate clinical coverage. Assist manager with review of time cards.
- Monitor and process Telephone and MyChart encounters to meet Clinic timelines.
- Maintain efficient levels of medications, medical and office supplies.
- Facilitate the orientation and training of new and on-call staff.
- Train, communicate, and monitor any new processes to the department/unit.
Requirements: - Active, unencumbered Washington or Multi-State RN license required . ( required to have active Washington RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer if using multi-state licensure )
- Active unencumbered Oregon RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer required.
- Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
- Ability to successfully become a core-trainer and super user of EHR.
- Superior communication skills and interpersonal skills set.
Pay Range:
$44.09 - $66.15
