Insurance Authorization Specialist! Location : Vancouver Innovation Center (18110 SE 34th St - Vancouver, WA 98683)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8: 00a-5: 00p. Hybrid after successful training period of 3-6 months.
Hiring Range: generally between $20.05-$24.05 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience
Position Summary: The
Insurance Authorization Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of all referral requests in a timely and professional manner.The Insurance Authorization Specialist will represent TVC in a positive, courteous, and compassionate manner and aid in the delivery of high-quality health care to all patients.
Must have excellent attendance! Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care. We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers. Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in either a medical office setting or in the health insurance industry required.
- Demonstrated experience in insurance requirements for referrals.
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills required.
- Understanding of medical terminology required.
- Must have reliable and predictable attendance.
Additional details : Referrals/Insurance Auth has the potential for off-site work after successful completion of training and meeting the requirements for working off-site. This requires an employee to live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).

Pay Range:
$19.70 - $27.58
