Location: Columbia Tech Center - 501 SE 172nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684

Hiring range is generally between $25.40-$31.10 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Full-Time Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 5: 00a to 1: 00p.

In this role: performing a variety of semi-skilled interior and exterior maintenance and repair tasks to help keep our facilities safe and operating efficiently, working with guidance from the Facilities Manager or Facilities Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems involvingHVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, fire systems, and other building-related systems and components.
  • Performpreventative building maintenanceon the physical structure, including roof, doors, and hardware.
  • Conduct routine plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets, sinks, or urinals, repairing leaks, and rebuilding faucets and valves.
  • Perform routine electrical repairs, including changing light bulbs or lamps, and assist with repairing ballasts, outlets, switches, and other fixtures.
  • Assemble, move, and installfurniture and equipment, hang pictures and tack boards, and set up tables and chairs in conference rooms to accommodate meetings.
  • Contribute to overallfacility safety, including proper disposal of biohazard and other waste materials.
  • Participate in anon-call rotationto respond to facility emergencies, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other facilities-related tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Minimum oftwo years of experiencein building maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to qualify as an acceptable driver per Vancouver Clinic policy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay Range:
$24.82 - $34.74
