Clinic Assistant - For our Breast Care Center

The Clinic Assistant supports a busy clinical team by handling key administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care. This role coordinates patient communication, documentation, referrals, authorizations, and essential clinic workflows.

Location: 87th Ave

Schedule: Will work 4 x 8 hour days, Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm, 32 hours per week.

We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments and assist with checkouts and recalls
  • Answer incoming calls and serve as the primary contact for the Patient Service Center
  • Process urgent referrals, prior authorizations, and other paperwork and medical record work.
  • Respond to information requests
  • Manage incoming faxes, patient records, and non-clinical EPIC error resolution
  • Maintain non-pharmaceutical supplies and monitor expiration dates
  • Support clinical staff with record retrieval, referral follow-up, and administrative tasks

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer software

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • EPIC EHR experience preferred




Pay Range:
$18.24 - $25.54
