Description:

Join Vancouver Clinic as a full-time Buyer.
As a Buyer, you are responsible for purchasing medical and non-medical supplies, equipment, medications, services, and other materials. You will track orders and assist management with vendor selection, maintain vendor relations and monitor vendor performance. To be successful in this role you will bring a strategic Procurement focus to our team with a desire to support primary and specialty care departments and ultimately patient care. Must be able to keep up with a fast pace of growth, adapt to change, and collaborate within the Supply Chain function and externally with providers, medical staff and third party vendors. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7: 30a-4: 00p. Hiring range is between $29.20-35.80/hour and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of professional experience.

Required qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of formal purchasing experience required.
  • Experience with inventory control preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare products preferred.
  • Experience with contracts and ability to negotiate with vendors preferred
  • Possible working hybrid after successful completion of on-site training


Pay Range:
$28.67 - $43.01

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
