Description:

Join Vancouver Clinic as an Audiology Assistant!.
As an Audiology Assistant you will serve as liaison between patients, physicians, and internal/external customers in person and by telephone. Hiring range is between $21.70-$26.00/hour and placement in the range depends on evaluation of professional experience.

Available Schedules:
Full-Time at Gateway Salmon Creek (40 hours/week): Four, 10-hour days, 7: 00a-5: 30p

Part-Time at Columbia Tech Center (20 hours/week): Thursday/Friday, 6: 45a-5: 15p ( will transition to schedule after successful completion of full-time, on-site training )

In this role you will:
  • Greet and escort patients. Answer incoming phone calls and scheduling
  • Package and mail ear mold orders, device repairs, and factory returns.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to hearing aids, ear molds, and other amplification devices.
  • Clean hearing aids and other amplification devices.
  • Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids and other amplification devices.
  • Educate patients in proper use and care of hearing aids and other amplification devices.
  • Perform non-diagnostic otoscopy.


Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in audiology or ENT department preferred.
  • Previous experience with hearing aids and assistive listening devices preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Must have reliable and predictable attendance


Pay Range:
$21.28 - $29.78

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
