Tapani Inc. is hiring a Shop Foreman in Battle Ground, WA. This is a full-time position.

Take a look what our current employees say about working for Tapani: Tapani Careers Job Purpose and Summary: The Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment of the work orders that come through the shop. The Shop Foreman works with the Shop Technicians to diagnose issues, plan repairs, order necessary parts, perform repairs, and test machines once complete. Responsibilities: Oversee all work flowing through the shop Assign tasks to the TechniciansCommunicate with all Technicians and ensure all are clear on what their task is and make sure they follow through with itEnsure all parts are on track/scheduleHelp with diagnostic and repairs Keep in contact with Shop Manager Always communicate with Shop Manager about daily schedule and adjust accordinglyNotify the Shop Manager when a job is complete so the equipment can be scheduled back to the fieldUnderstand what work orders the Shop Technicians are performing Take calls for the Repair Coordinator when neededJob is supervisory to the extent that daily work direction is provided to personnel in subordinate classifications.Review Shop Technician's time cards Job Requirement and Qualifications: One to two years supervisory experience or hands on experienceAbility to diagnose equipment problems and put together a plan and execute itWork independently with little supervisionCommunication skillsPlanning and scheduling skillsDecision making skillsAble to push, pull, lift, and carry 50 pounds Physical activities include long periods of standing and walking in addition to hearing, talking, and typing Working Environment: The working environment for this position will be mainly in the shop with a small amount of office workHours typically range between the hours of 7 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday, with occasional evenings and weekendsRecurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm with a high degree of complexity Compensation and Benefits Pay: $35.73 - $53.60 per hour(based on qualifications and experience)Comprehensive Medical Insurance plans with low to $0 monthly premiumsAdditional voluntary insurance options include: Dental, Vision, and a wide variety of Supplemental insurances.Flexible Paid Time Off and Sick TimeCompany Paid Life Insurance401(k) options with up to 4% employer matchSee the full list of benefitshere
