Business Development Manager- Major Contractor - Perth

Join Schneider Electric and help shape major energy and infrastructure projects across Western Australia. We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager- Major Contractor to grow engagement with Major Electrical Contractors and ensure our solutions are embedded into key WA projects.

About the Role

Based in Perth, you'll act as a trusted advisor to major electrical contractors-promoting our full solutions offering, influencing project specifications, supporting tenders, and coordinating with product experts. You'll manage a healthy pipeline, track opportunities in CRM, and collaborate with the WA Project Sales Team to drive project wins and maximise opportunity capture across channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Schneider Electric solutions to major electrical contractors.
  • Build strong relationships to uncover and influence project opportunities.
  • Support tender reviews, quotes, and commercial discussions.
  • Coordinate technical support with product specialists.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and forecast project pipelines.
  • Share market insights and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Assist in securing major and strategic project wins.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Electrical trade qualification or engineering degree.
  • 5+ years' industrial/technology sales experience.
  • 2+ years in key account or senior sales roles.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution and energy management.
  • Experience in tenders, negotiations, and quoting.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship skills.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and confident managing stakeholders.
  • CRM and strong computer proficiency.
