Required Qualifications(skills/experience/certifications): Bachelors degree in marketing, graphic design, or related field from an accredited universityProficient skills with using Adobe Cloud Suite and Microsoft OfficeAbility to collaborate with a team remotely and in-person Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications): Experience working in the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) industryAPMP certification Job Duties/Responsibilities: Proposal Leadership and Pursuit Management Lead the planning, strategy, coordination, development, and delivery of proposals and qualifications packages from kickoff through final submission.Develop proposal schedules, work plans, outlines, assignments, and review milestones, and provide the structure and accountability necessary to keep pursuit teams on track.Coordinate with technical professionals, firm leadership, proposal staff, graphic designers, subconsultants, and other contributors to gather, develop, and refine proposal content.Interpret solicitation requirements and ensure each submission complies with procurement requirements, evaluation criteria, and client-specific instructions.Facilitate go/no-go discussions, strategy sessions, kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and proposal reviews, and debriefs (internal and external).Develop pursuit strategies, win themes, key messages, and value propositions that connect Sanbells experience and expertise to the clients needs.Independently manage multiple concurrent proposals while maintaining quality and meeting critical deadlines.Manage quality assurance and quality control reviews to confirm each submission is compliant, accurate, cohesive, persuasive, and professionally presented. Writing, Editing, and Visual Communication Write and edit proposal narratives that clearly communicate Sanbells experience, project approach, team qualifications, and value to the client.Translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused content.Synthesize contributions from multiple authors into a cohesive narrative with a consistent voice and message.Develop and refine resumes, project descriptions, cover letters, technical approaches, firm qualifications, presentations, and other pursuit materials.Create thoughtful layouts and graphics that organize complex information, reinforce key messages, and make proposals easy to navigate and evaluate. Interview Preparation Lead interview and presentation preparation for shortlisted pursuits.Partner with interview teams to develop the presentation strategy, storyline, messaging, slides, and supporting materials.Ensure client priorities, win themes, and differentiators are reinforced throughout the presentation. Team Leadership and Development Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior proposal staff and proposal contributors.Help technical professionals who are new to public-sector procurement understand proposal requirements, assignments, deadlines, and expectations.Provide pursuit teams with clear direction, consistent communication, and appropriate accountability throughout the proposal process.Help junior proposal staff progressively build the skills and confidence needed to manage increasingly complex assignments and pursuits.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages responsiveness, creativity, and shared ownership of proposal quality.Establish and reinforce best practices that improve proposal quality, consistency, efficiency, and collaboration.Help maintain and improve proposal resources, including templates, resumes, project descriptions, firm qualifications, graphics, and standard content.Identify practical opportunities to strengthen the proposal process and use available tools and technologies more effectively. Proposal Closeout and Continuous Improvement Complete proposal closeout activities, including organizing final files, updating reusable proposal materials, and communicating results to contributors.Participate in client debriefs and capture meaningful feedback and lessons learned.Share findings with pursuit teams and help apply lessons learned to future positioning, proposals, and interviews.Other duties as assigned.
