PKL Services, Inc is hiring a KC-135 Site Manager in Fairchild Air Force Base, WA. This is a full-time position.

About the role To provide scheduled & unscheduled Organizational, Intermediate and Depot level maintenance, inspection and repair of KC-135 aircraft at Fairchild AFB WA. and various TDY locations. The Site Manager has overall responsibility for executing the requirements of the task orders assigned to the section. The Site Manager shall be the point of contact for the site COR for instructions on workload scheduling, TDYs, and the Chief COR at Tinker AFB for submission of deliverables and be responsible for the overall management of task orders while being physically present during normal duty hours. Key responsibilities include: 1. Serve as the on-site manager to the PKL Program Management Team. 2. Plan, direct, and control the performance and execution of contractor aviation maintenance performed at the respective organizational, intermediate, and depotlevel maintenance activity. 3. Responsible for ensuring all work performed by contractors is accomplished in accordance with applicable publications, technical directives, instructions, standards, and procedures contained in pertinent manuals and modification orders utilizing blueprints, drawings, or schematics. 4. Responsible for the assignment of duties, supervision, management, control, and termination of personnel in performance of Task Order (TO) requirements. 5. Provide indoctrination and recurring training to new employees and verify employee timesheets daily. 6. Assign site personnel to work centers and workspaces and coordinate work hours and shift hours to cover daily requirements. 7. Provide a management structure that enables personnel to effectively perform the roles and responsibilities associated with the execution of task order requirements. 8. Ensure all contractor personnel meet the required qualifications and certifications for their assigned skill set and are currently maintained and properly documented. 9. Establish and maintain a Monthly Performance Report, among others required by the TO or basic contract. 10. Ensure incident/accident investigations are properly conducted, in addition to reports being filed, that may arise from any quality defect notices issued against contractor employees. 11. Identify and quantify substandard performance areas and develop a corrective action plan, focused on continuous process improvement. 12. Participate in customer planning meetings and any other task order meeting requirements. 13. Maintain assigned aircraft/aeronautical equipment in a manner that meets or exceeds AFI 21-101, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management and AFI 21-103, Equipment Inventory, Status and Utilization Reporting guidelines. 14. Supervise personnel who perform administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance that involve preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing; performing database and system analysis; maintaining aircraft and engine logbooks, and associated records. 15. Establish, evaluate, document, and improve as required the contractor manpower utilization report. 16. Liaise with appropriate active-duty military leadership at the various work sections to ensure aircraft services delivered are timely, accomplished correctly, and documented in accordance with contract requirements. 17. Effectively communicate program expectations and requirements to site leaders, key personnel, and other stakeholders in a clear and timely fashion. 18. Provide leadership and sound management with the goal of continuous improvement of aircraft maintenance and operations support services for the military customer. 19. Ensure that government IT and any Security Clearance requirements for all contractors are met and maintained. 20. Ensure all work is performed strictly in accordance with current published Maintenance Instructions/Manuals and Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations. 21. Perform all other contractual requirements per the Performance Work Statement and Task Orders. 22. Ensure that an adequate number of qualified personnel are cross trained to assist other specialties while also ensuring that contractor personnel support good order, productivity, and cohesiveness within the section. 23. Prepare and submit Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) to comply with Performance Work Statement requirements. 24. Counsel employees as necessary. 25. Prepare performance awards for consideration. 26. Complete company ISO forms necessary for pay, travel, and QMS compliance. 27. Any and all other duties as assigned by the Director. About you Wed love to hear from you if you have: 1. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree desired. 2. At least fifteen (15) years of aircraft maintenance, leadership, modification, and repair experience, preferably with KC-135 aircraft experience. 3. Must be authorized to work in the United States. 4. Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance. 5. Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). 6. Ability to lead a small to medium-sized team in performing KC-135 in Organizational, Intermediate and Depot level maintenance. 7. Proficiency with IMDS automated maintenance documentation system within the first 90 days of employment. 8. Knowledge of the learning process and how to transfer technical knowledge to less qualified personnel, including the ability to express thoughts in both oral and written communications. 9. Working knowledge of the AFI 21-101 and AFI 21-103 instructions or ability to quickly grasp this knowledge after employment. 10. A valid State Drivers license. 11. U.S. citizenship. Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing. 3. Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key). 4. May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times. 6. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. 7. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing through a hazardous area. 8. Office environment, hangar and flightline 9. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud at times.
