The Regional Security Advisor, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will support physical security, life safety, and asset protection operations in the Puget Sound region. This role provides onsite operational assistance, oversight, incident coordination, and advisory services in close partnership with the client and other vendors.

- Provide operational support in the evaluation, development, and execution of regional site security strategies.
- Coordinate security vetting of individuals, teams, and vendors to ensure compliance with the client's policy.
- Oversee and support all agents/vendors to ensure project contracts and deadlines are consistently met.
- Complete site security plans, security assessments, and site-specific risk/threat analysis and training awareness programs.
- Defuse, de-escalate and manage confrontational, aggressive or threatening people or situations.
- Respond to emergency and routine incidents including unauthorized incursions, fire, medical emergencies, bomb threat, suspicious activities, severe weather, hazardous materials, and facilities issues.
- Provide advisory support related to guard force and patrol operations, security design, and incident response.
- Liaise with governmental, consular, and private sector agencies, to protect and enhance the client's security program and business accountabilities, as directed by the Regional Security Manager.
- Oversee and support all agents/vendors to ensure project contracts and deadlines are consistently met.
- Assist with the implementation of contingency plans for the immediate resolution of strategic and tactical applications for regional security standards, policy, and procedures.
- Prepare incident reports, after-action documentation, and operational summaries when required.
- Actively support cross-functional group processes, programs, and projects.
- Provide operational security support and assist with operational security-related investigations, as required.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree with five or more years of experience as a security advisor in corporate, public, or private organization's security department. Preferred candidates have had or are currently licensed as a WA DOL Security Guard.
- Knowledge of physical/operational security techniques.
- Experience with local law enforcement.
- Understanding of risk management, security technologies, and processes.
- Able to build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and law enforcement.
- Security industry recognized qualifications, preferred.
- Extensive cultural and diversity awareness.
- Consistently delivers on commitments and achieves expected business results.
- Serve as an effective team leader.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
