Commercial Underwriting - Commercial Loan Analyst - Full time - Remote (AK, AZ, NV, WA)

The Commercial Loan Analyst will conduct credit evaluations and analyze complex and diverse credit information for companies and industries. The position performs a variety of tasks that include analyzing loan requests, analyzing borrower information, financial statements, collateral and tax returns to determine ability to pay.Additional job functions include conducting forecast analysis, preparing credit memorandums for review, providing support to the loan officers and coordinating activity in support of the credit review and approval process.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing loan requests, including borrower information, financial statements, collateral and tax returns for new and existing loans.
• Assist underwriter in preparation of credit memorandum and credit review.
• Perform site visits and member interviews for new loans and annual reviews.
• Cultivates and retain business member accounts through effective customer service. Assist in training of additional staff
• Treats all co-workers and members with respect.
• Supports, participates and volunteers in credit union member community activities, member relations and events that promotes member centric experiences.
• Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
• Other related duties as assigned including but not limited to conducting forecast analysis, preparing credit memorandums for review and providing support to the loan officers
• Maintains member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• 3years of commercial loan analysisexperience with a financial institution.
• Experience with commercial lending analysis software

• Working knowledge and proficiency with commercial lending analysis softwareGood understanding of NCUA regulations in Business Services.

• Proficient with PC and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Good organization and member service skills required. Strong analytical skills and decisive decision – making skills. Maintain confidentiality in all credit union matters.

Education:

• Two-year college degree or equivalent related specialized course of study or program or work equivalent.

Pay scale by applicable geographic work location:

• Alaska: Min $30.11 - Mid $37.64 - Max $45.17
• Arizona: Min $26.55- Mid $33.18 - Max $39.82
• Nevada: Min $27.16 - Mid $33.95 - Max $40.74
• Washington: Min $30.85 - Mid $38.56 - Max $46.27

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
