Physical Therapist (PT) - Cedar River Healthcare Center

At Cedar River Healthcare Center, we are committed to helping our residents achieve independence and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our therapy team.

General Purpose

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, develops individualized treatment plans, communicates with families and the care team, and maintains accurate documentation of services. This role also supports staff training and provides guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with state practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral and document findings
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Provide direct patient care and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and discharge planning
• Train staff and families in restorative and maintenance programs
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with state and payer requirements
• Recommend and facilitate necessary equipment to promote patient independence and mobility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in Washington
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems (e.g., Casamba, PointClickCare) preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently; occasional lifting over 100 lbs with assistance

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $55 - $70 per hour, depending on experience
