Lynden Incorporated is seeking an IT Infrastructure Intern to work as part of our SeaTac based team. Join Lynden for a fun learning experience this summer. This is a paid internship; you will generally work 40 hours per week for a period of 17 weeks during the summer. This position is non-safety sensitive.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide IT support and participate in IT projects.
  • You will work with Systems Administration, Networking, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Asset Management.
  • Projects and support will vary and depend upon your knowledge, experience, and interests.
  • Participate in learning and networking opportunities such as:
    • Tours of our local Lynden Operating Companies.
    • Informational lunches with executives across Operations, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance and Company Presidents.
    • Assisting with employee events including the Lynden summer barbecue.
    • Intern team building activities.
    • Presenting group projects to Lynden executives.

What We Need from You (required)

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
  • Academic focus on computer science, information technology or cyber security is preferred.
  • Basic configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of such devices as desktop and laptop computers, etc.
  • Basic understanding and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Visio or other diagraming tools is a desired.
  • Academic knowledge of Information Technology Management
  • Academic knowledge of IT Systems Administration, Networking, and Cybersecurity practices

What Would Be Nice to Bring (preferred)

  • Certifications in A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications.

Your Schedule

  • Hybrid schedule upon completion of training with 4 days onsite and 1 day offsite.
