PENDING CONTRACT AWARD AIRCRAFT LOGS & RECORDS TECHNICIAN Location: NAS Whidbey Island, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Clearance: Secret | CAC required
Summary Provides support of Intermediate level (I-Level and Depot Level) repair support for the ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.
Maintains aircraft maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation in support of inspections and audits.
Essential Functions - Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification
- Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems
- Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Duties - Maintain aircraft, engine, and component logbooks
- Intermediate Level (I-Level) and Depot Level (D-Level) ALQ-99 TJS Repair
- Verify TD compliance and inspection status
- Interface with QA and Maintenance Control
Qualifications - Logs and Records "A" School or equivalent required
- 3+ years related experience required
- 3+ years ALQ-99 or equivalent experience preferred
- Secret clearance required
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged sitting or standing, use of a computer and office equipment, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Requires sufficient vision to read and review records and the ability to work in office and hangar environments while wearing required PPE.
