As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls line of business space, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains. We are seeking a results-oriented and highly skilled Identity & Access Management Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in IAM, a proven track record in architecting and deploying secure identity solutions, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams through vendor evaluations, secure design review through control integration. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as hands-on experience with both cloud and on-premises environments.
Job responsibilities- Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls, and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworks
- Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements for IAM product lines and ensure compliance.
- Design, architect, and implement IAM solutions, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OpenID Connect, FIDO2, and WebAuthN.
- Lead the deployment of programs and tools for attack path management in Active Directory.
- Oversee the delivery of role-based access control and manage customer escalations related to IAM.
- Drive technical content, readiness, and proof-of-concept programs for cloud-based identity solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including CxO-level executives, to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Supervise and mentor technical teams, providing training and guidance on IAM best practices
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
- Prepare technical documentation, project proposals, and post-project reports.
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience, with a focus on Identity and Access Management and Cybersecurity.
- Proven experience as an architect, consultant, and technical program manager in large-scale IAM projects.
- Advanced in one or more programming languages or applications
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator + Security (MCSA+S)
