Job Description:
As the Receptionist at Park Place, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our front desk, ensuring that all visitors receive welcoming and professional experience. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, provide excellent customer service, and support the broader team with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward phone calls as needed, taking messages when required.
  • Manage office communications, including emails, phone inquiries, and in-person requests.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage conference room bookings.
  • Assist with mail distribution, deliveries, and other office supplies.
  • Maintain office security by following procedures and monitoring guest access.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings or events, as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally, notifying relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or administrative certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment (printers, fax machines, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor, even in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems is preferred.

Compensation:

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required.

The role is considered Part-Time non-exempt and may be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state law. The anticipated base pay range for the position is $21.00- $21.00 per hour.
