Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out routine, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance across the hotel (interior and exterior)
• Provide timely, effective maintenance support to all hotel departments
• Perform hands on tasks including minor plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, air conditioning maintenance and general repairs
• Proactively identify maintenance issues and assist with preventative maintenance planning
• Log and manage all maintenance requests through MyBuildings, ensuring tasks are completed and tracked correctly
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors when required, ensuring safe and high quality work
• Support building compliance, WHS standards and safe operation of plant and equipment
• Report to General Manager and ensure smooth day to day operations

What You’ll Bring:
• Practical experience in general maintenance, building services or a trade related role (hotel or commercial environment preferred)
• Broad, hands on skill set across general repairs and preventative maintenance
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a role aligned to the advertised $65k–$70k salary range
• Ability to manage priorities, respond to urgent issues and work calmly under pressure
• Clear communication skills and a team first attitude
