Schedule: Full-time - Wed - Fri, 8am - 8pm
Wage: $30.90 - $46.22/hr DOE
Licensed Scale: $32.78 - $48.65/hr DOE

Compass Health is currently seeking a Clinician II to join our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) in Bellingham. This dynamic role involves providing timely, person-centered crisis mental health services in a variety of community settings to individuals of all ages experiencing acute behavioral health issues.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide mobile crisis outreach and stabilization for clients in community settings (homes, schools, shelters, etc.).
  • Conduct assessments, safety evaluations, and mental health interventions using strength-based and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Collaborate with Crisis Stabilization Aides, triage teams, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Facilitate voluntary and involuntary placements, including psychiatric hospitalization or Triage Center admission, when needed.
  • Prepare legal affidavits, coordinate with DCRs, and provide testimony related to ITA proceedings.
  • Support clients with short-term case management and transition planning.
  • Document service delivery and interventions accurately and in a timely manner using the EMR system.
  • Participate in the rotation for after-hours emergency response.
What You Bring
  • MA/MS/MSW in a Behavioral Science-related field.
  • Meets qualifications for Mental Health Professional (MHP) per WAC.
  • Experience or training in Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care preferred; must be obtained within 60 days if not already certified.
  • Proficiency in navigating community resources and safety planning.
  • Valid WA Driver's License, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check.
