Compass Health is seeking a dedicated
Crisis Clinician I to join our
Child Youth Family Crisis Team (CYFCT) serving Snohomish County. In this vital role, you'll deliver timely, recovery-focused support to children, youth, and families facing behavioral health crises-helping them stabilize and thrive in the least restrictive environment possible.
About the Program
The CYFCT provides mobile, community-based mental health interventions to youth experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. Through short-term, intensive engagement, the team focuses on de-escalation, risk reduction, and linkage to longer-term support systems. Services are grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and collaborative care.
What You'll Do
As a Crisis Clinician I, you will:
- Deliver rapid, trauma-informed responses to behavioral health crises.
- Assess safety risks and co-develop stabilization plans with clients and families.
- Provide individual, family, and systems-level interventions to promote short-term recovery.
- Coordinate care with schools, emergency departments, social services, and other systems.
- Document services and treatment plans in accordance with Compass Health standards.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and program planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field required.
- Experience working with children, youth, and/or families is essential.
- Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) preferred.
- Must obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor status upon hire if not already licensed.
- Valid WA State driver's license, vehicle, and appropriate insurance.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check (may include DSHS).
