Wage DOE: $16.66-$20.82DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Dietary Aide to join our dietary team in a long-term care setting. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive nutritious and appetizing meals that align with their dietary needs and restrictions. You will work closely with a team of nutritionists, cooks, and other healthcare professionals to support the well-being of our patients by helping prepare, serve, and delivering meals in a safe and efficient manner. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the tray set up process, dishwashing and clean up. Additionally, you will be tasked with collecting dietary information from patients to understand their preferences and needs better. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care, health standards, and sanitation practices. Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of food and beverages for residents and patients.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization before and after meals.
- Occasionally collect and record dietary preferences and restrictions from patients.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation guidelines in all dietary processes.
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with inventory management and stock replenishment.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or food service environment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary guidelines is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Willingness to be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
