Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Colonial Vista Post Acute, Wenatchee, WA

Pay: $30-$46 per hour (DOE)

We're looking for an energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team and help residents regain independence and confidence in their daily lives.

General Purpose

The COTA works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You'll help implement treatment plans, encourage functional independence, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Essential Duties

• Provide direct treatment following the Occupational Therapist's care plan
• Record accurate daily and weekly treatment documentation per OT Board standards
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs
• Assist with restorative nursing training and participate in in-service education
• Communicate patient progress and needs to the supervising OT and care team
• Support discharge planning and recommend adaptive equipment as appropriate
• Maintain treatment areas, ensuring equipment is safe and clean

Qualifications

• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Washington State
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in documentation software (Casamba, PointClickCare)
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred
