Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to accommodate patients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking practices adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food supplies and inventory, ordering ingredients as needed to maintain stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Provide support during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of meals to patients.
Requirements- Proven experience as a cook in a kitchen setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices and regulations.
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with healthcare staff.
- Ability to adapt meal offerings based on various dietary needs and restrictions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
