Full Job Description:
A receptionist at Colonial Vista Senior Living serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. Typical responsibilities include:
- Greeting and Assisting Visitors: Welcome guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and professional manner, providing information and directing them to appropriate locations within the facility.
- Managing Communications: Answer incoming calls on multi-line telephones, screen and forward calls as necessary, and take accurate messages.
- Administrative Support: Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments, filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Handling Mail and Deliveries: Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and messages to the appropriate recipients.
- Security and Access Control: Verify identification of visitors, issue visitor passes, and monitor entry to ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
- Maintaining Reception Area: Keep the front desk and lobby area tidy and organized, ensuring a pleasant environment for all visitors.
Receptionists are often expected to maintain a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times, regardless of the visitor's behavior. Personal qualities such as attentiveness, a well-groomed appearance, initiative, loyalty, maturity, respect for confidentiality, discretion, a positive attitude, and dependability are essential for success in this role.

Pay: 16.28-21.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
