SUMMARY The Marketing Intern will play a key role in developing and executing a refreshed marketing and branding strategy for MicroConnex. This includes creating compelling marketing materials for upcoming trade shows, enhancing internal and external building signage, and supporting digital branding efforts. *** This role is temporary for the duration of 8 weeks. It is also part time, 20 hours per week. You choose your schedule! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Collaborate with leadership to develop a cohesive marketing and branding strategy. Design and produce marketing collateral including flyers, capability sheets, and trade show materials. Assist in the creation of branded signage for internal and external use. Support digital marketing initiatives including website updates, social media content, and email campaigns. Coordinate with vendors for printing and production of marketing materials. Conduct market research to inform branding decisions and identify trends. Help organize and prepare for trade show events, including booth setup and promotional materials. Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials. *Other duties as required in support of the department and the company* SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. Portfolio of previous work or projects, preferred. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational in any other language is a plus. JOB SKILLS Intermediate in MS Office Suite and SharePoint. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva. Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, SEO, social media). Creative mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. WHAT YOU'LL GAIN Hands-on experience in marketing strategy and execution. SCHEDULE 8-week Internship 20 hours per week Flexible working hours, but must set consistent schedule Monday - Friday between 8: 30a - 5: 00p. On-site in Snoqualmie, WA PHYSICAL DEMANDS As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
