About the Role

As a Control Systems Engineer supporting our WA Mining Operations at Huntly and Willowdale, you will play a key role in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of electrical and control systems across fixed plant infrastructure. This role is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with the included benefit of one leisure day off per 4 week period.

You will be empowered to drive reliability, innovation and performance, ensuring our operations meet production, cost and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring environmental, health and safety compliance through system design, audits and equipment integrity inspections

  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying optimisation, cost reduction and waste minimisation opportunities

  • Providing technical expertise in the design, implementation and commissioning of control systems

  • Building strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors and external consultants

  • Supporting project delivery to meet safety, schedule, cost and quality outcomes

  • Providing leadership and technical guidance to tradespeople and engineering teams

What you can bring to the role

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Control Systems or related Engineering discipline

  • Demonstrated experience designing and supporting control systems within heavy industry, mining or process environments

  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA and industrial control systems

  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and enhance asset reliability

  • Ability to manage priorities, support projects and deliver practical engineering solutions

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams
