Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows-based servers, workstations, and enterprise applications including MS Exchange Online, Office 365, SharePoint, Azure, and Active Directory.

  • Maintain and support virtualization platforms/hypervisors (e.g., Nutanix), backup/recovery systems (e.g., Veeam), and other physical/cloud enterprise devices

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support to end-users and business units, resolving escalated technical issues across hardware, software, and networking.

  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure components including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VoIP systems.

  • Deploy end user devices using wireless/OTA (Over the Air) technology.

  • Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and configurations in accordance with best practices and security policies.

  • Document procedures, system configurations, and known issues; contribute to the knowledge base for internal IT use.

  • Collaborate with security and quality teams to ensure systems are aligned with organizational standards and controls.

  • Participate in IT projects, including new system implementations, migrations, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure service desk ticketing system is updated accurately and closed in a timely manner with clear documentation.

  • Performs other related duties as needed and assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a system administrator or equivalent technical role.

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Hands-on experience with VMware or similar virtualization technologies.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting system and network issues and identifying root causes.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional internal customer service and support.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Flexibility to occasionally work after-hours or weekends for system maintenance or urgent issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills with ability to concisely communicate issues to management, users and peers with diverse backgrounds and cultures

  • Ability to follow & enforce established processes and security guidelines and effectively communicate them to users

  • Ability to follow DI’s policies and procedures and system usage practices

  • Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts

  • Must comply with Company vaccination policy

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States

Education and/or Experience

Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or a combination of education and related working experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.

IT Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA/MCSE), or equivalent..

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a office environment with high frequency of telephone communication, keyboarding, and computer use. This person must be able to frequently kneel, squat, bend, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions, and have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Supervision Level

This person reports directly to the Director of Technology Solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $72, 500 – $103, 647 (Compensation will vary based on skills and experience)

  • Bonus Eligibility: Full-time, non-sales employees are eligible for DI’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
