Lift Operations Supervisor

A modern chairlift can have as many people in the air as a Boeing 767, move at speeds of up to 1000 feet per minute, at elevations of up to 45 feet off the ground, all in freezing temperatures. A lot is riding on Lift Operators doing their job well and at Bromley we take this responsibility seriously. We also want to make it stress-free and enjoyable for our guests. We are looking for an energetic person to lead our team of attendants. Summary: Shares responsibility with Lifts Manager for daily operations of lifts during winter season. Duties and Responsibilities: Hires, schedules, and supervises lift staffConducts and documents all training in accordance with company and ANSI B77.1-2017 standardsSchedules lift attendants according to weekly lift scheduleUnderstands the function of lifts and their safety devices and operates control switchesOversees operation of lifts, maintenance of ramps, and conditions of loading and unloading areasRemoves excess snow from lifts, ramps, decks, nets, and areas adjacent to liftsKeeps shacks and adjacent areas neat and free of garbageAssists passengers and loads liftsShares responsibility with Resort Hosts for setting up and removing mazesAssists Lift Maintenance staff as neededPerforms some administrative duties related to the international programInvolved in interviews with J-1 applicantsOther duties as assigned
