About the role: TheEnrollment Specialist supports the timely and accurate processing of enrollment activities for Veteran Directed Care (VDC), Respite, and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) programs. This role is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and entering employer, employee, and vendor information into the FMS system in accordance with established procedures. Key functions include obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EINs), coordinating workers compensation coverage, processing enrollment documentation, and applying appropriate tax exemption information when applicable. The specialist regularly communicates with external agencies, employers, and internal teams to facilitate completion of enrollment packets, provide status updates, and resolve issues. The role also involves reviewing background check results, maintaining accurate and well-organized records, and assisting with inquiries related to enrollment status and basic program information. In addition, the Enrollment Specialist contributes to team operations by providing backup support and collaborating across functions to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of services. Duties and Responsibilities: Enroll employers through IRS to receive Employer Identification Numbers Secure workers compensation policies along with sending cancellations to insurance brokers. Enroll employer and employee/vendor demographic information into FMS Engine Enrollment Module, daily Interact directly with VDC agency, respite, and CDS contacts. Process incoming VDC enrollment paperwork packets (save to correct areas based on State/program) and label appropriately. Basic understanding of how to enter tax exemptions into FMS for employees that qualify for certain exemption statuses, understand which relationships qualify. Review Background Check Process results and interpret findings as appropriate. Perform outreach to employers to aid when needed for completion of enrollment packets. Assist Client Support Representatives with research regarding enrollments, status of packets, and simple budget related questions (budget here, rate of pay for employee, start date). Mail agencies/potential enrollees documents when requested. Other duties as assigned.
