About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Deployment Project Engineer to join our ADMS deployment organization, with a clear path toward taking on the Deployment Team Lead role.
This position is designed for someone who combines strong hands-on technical deployment experience with technical and people leadership capabilities.
During the initial approximately six-month onboarding and transition period, you will work directly on ADMS customer projects as a Deployment Project Engineer/Deployment Lead. This will allow you to gain in-depth knowledge of our ADMS solution, deployment architecture, project lifecycle, tools, processes, procedures and ways of working, while building strong relationships with the deployment team and key project stakeholders.
Following this transition period, the expectation is that you will progressively take ownership of the Deployment Team Lead role, while remaining close to the technical work and supporting critical deployment activities when required.
This is therefore not a purely managerial position. We are looking for a leader who understands deployment from first-hand experience and is comfortable combining technical delivery, technical leadership and people leadership.

What You'll Do

- Work hands-on as a Deployment Project Engineer/Deployment Lead on ADMS customer projects.
- Learn the ADMS solution architecture, deployment model, tools, processes and procedures through active project participation.
- Plan, estimate, execute, document and track deployment activities across internal test, customer test and production environments.
- Perform and coordinate ADMS installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, hotfixes, licensing and system verification.
- Support infrastructure preparation, Windows Server environments, virtualization, MS SQL Server and relevant third-party software.
- Coordinate deployment activities with Project Managers, Architects, Test Managers, PCT, Customer IT teams and other technical stakeholders.
- Review project documentation such as SoW, RFP and ToC to identify deployment scope, assumptions, dependencies and risks.
- Support critical project phases including system preparation, cutover, go-live, stabilization and customer handover.
- Build a strong understanding of current team capabilities, project challenges and opportunities for improving deployment practices.
As you progress into the Team Lead role, you will:
- Lead, support and develop Deployment Leads and deployment team members across customer projects.
- Provide both people leadership and technical leadership to the deployment organization.
- Support resource planning, project allocation, workload balancing and capability development according to business and project priorities.
- Ensure deployment activities are consistently planned, estimated, documented, executed and tracked throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as an escalation point for complex deployment, infrastructure and delivery topics.
- Coach and mentor team members and support their technical and professional development.
- Drive consistency and quality across deployment documentation, including system configuration plans, handover documentation, system status pages and deployment records.
- Identify and address deployment-related risks, dependencies, recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Strengthen collaboration between Deployment, Project Management, Architecture, Testing, PCT and other engineering functions.
- Promote knowledge sharing, onboarding, standardization and continuous improvement across the team.
- Support critical customer projects directly when additional technical leadership or deployment expertise is required.
We are looking for someone who brings a combination of technical depth, project delivery experience and leadership capability.
Ideally, you have:
- Strong experience in software deployment, infrastructure, systems engineering or technical project delivery in complex enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting enterprise software solutions.
- Experience as a Senior/Lead Engineer, Deployment Lead, Technical Lead, Project Engineer, Solution Engineer or similar technical delivery role.
- Previous experience in people management, team leadership, technical leadership, mentoring or coaching engineers.
- The ability and willingness to remain technically hands-on, particularly during the initial transition period and during critical project phases.
- Experience coordinating technical activities across multiple projects, teams and stakeholders.
- Good understanding of Windows Server environments, virtualization technologies, MS SQL Server and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of project delivery fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, dependencies and customer expectations.
- The ability to identify risks early, communicate them clearly and drive issues through to resolution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to support international customer projects and travel when required.
