We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Ocean Freight Order Management Solutions (OMS) team. Based in Melbourne or Sydney, this newly-curated role is perfect for an experienced professional or dynamic up and comer, with strong freight forwarding expertise.

About the Role
Drive growth for our Ocean Freight OMS portfolio by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic sales initiatives, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. You’ll manage a healthy pipeline, lead market and feasibility studies, coordinate with sales teams, and deliver tailored OMS solutions that meet customer needs.


What You’ll Do

• Lead strategic business development aligned with global Ocean Freight/OMS goals
• Build and convert new business pipelines; grow existing accounts
• Analyse markets, identify target customers, and create impactful marketing initiatives
• Partner with inside sales and product teams to maximise opportunities
• Maintain dual-reporting lines with National and Regional Management
• Prepare proposals, negotiate deals, and secure new revenue
• Maintain accurate reporting and strong customer engagement

• Proven proficiency in freight forwarding (essential)
• Strong commercial mindset and drive for results
• Ability to foster trust, collaborate effectively, and thrive through change
• Determination to win and grow opportunities across the OMS vertical
