THE OPPORTUNITY

J& J MedTech's Surgical Vision team have a unique opening for a Regional Sales Manager to join and lead a high performing team.

As Regional Sales Manager in Surgical Vision you are responsible for leading sales efforts in a specific region, driving business growth, and developing strategies to increase market share. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, commercial excellence and customer service teams to achieve sales objectives and improve customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing the sales team with leadership, direction and resources to ensure sales targets are met. As part of the leadership team, you will develop and execute the sales strategy and liaise with the cross-functional teams to ensure short and long-term sales strategies are executed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance and coaching to immediate team in executing their responsibilities
  • Direct Sales Team activities to achieve short and long-term business objectives and financial goals
  • Translate marketing strategies into daily sales and customer support plans
  • Develop internal talent and successors within the team
  • Provide input to Leadership Team on market trends, customer insights, sales forecasts, and strategic planning
  • Establish and maintain a strong competitive position through strategic identification of key marketing/business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Accounts in the region
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and professional groups to support strategic market activities
ABOUT YOU

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience developing talent and building long term partnerships with customers
  • Excellent strategic business planning skills with self-discipline with strong organisation skills
  • Qualifications in Health Sciences or Commerce advantageous.
