The Opportunity

A newly created role due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Product Specialist to join our growing Biosurgery team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for J& J’s Surgical/Adjunctive Haemostat product portfolio that can be sold to a wide range of specialties including Bariatrics, Colorectal, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Cardiovascular, ENT, Neurosurgery etc.

Predominantly a field-based role, you will be required to engage with Key Opinion Leaders and various hospital decision makers, coordinate product demonstrations, and provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications. As the product subject matter expert, you will also provide in-theatre technical support and in-service training, ensuring maximum benefit and application of J& J’s suite of Biosurgery products.

The main territory will be Melbourne Metro.

About You

  • Degree qualified, with minimum 2-3 years sales experience within medical devices or pharma and preferably experience working in the operating theatre environment
  • Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, self-starter with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative
  • Solutions focussed, with the ability to engage and build strong relationships with various stakeholders, and a genuine desire to understand and support customers
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
