The Opportunity

Predominantly a field-based role, the Clinical Specialist is primarily responsible for providing technical support in an operating theatre environment to our hospital-based customers across our Hip and Knee product portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending surgical procedures and providing expert technical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Nursing staff in the correct and safe use of products
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing in-service training to Registrars, Nursing staff etc.
  • Optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team and providing product demo as required
  • Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic etc.)
  • Confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment
  • Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
  • Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused
  • Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, and is organised with good time management skills
