Description:

We like to lead from the front. So, we’re looking for a Duty Manager to form part of the on shift leadership team, ensuring our hotel always runs smoothly. You will oversee this busy airport hotel's front office operations, be the hotel champion for guest satisfaction and ensure the safety and security of the hotel.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
• Leading the way – managing guest experiences, team performance and front office operations
• Having authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns
• Prioritising workload and ensuring your team deliver authentic, memorable experiences to our valued guests
• Developing your team’s skills to drive results that positively impact on hotel performance
• Being first point of contact for any critical emergency situations and taking the lead
To support your own development, you will be exposed to areas such as rostering, revenue initiatives, guest recognition, recruitment and training.
What we need from you:
● 1 year minimum experience in a front desk/guest service leadership role
● Guest satisfaction is at the core of everything you do
● Experience of leading a team as a Supervisor or Duty Manager and driving strong results in guest experience and enrolments
● Ability to problem solve using your own experience, with the ultimate goal of a win-win situation
● Excellent communication and the ability to connect with guests and colleagues from all walks of life
● Current First Aid, CPR and RSA certificates are required
● Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products with previous knowledge of Opera highly desired
● Ability to work across a 7 day roster including morning, afternoon, evening shifts
● Full working rights in Australia (sorry, sponsorship is not an option)
