We are seeking an experienced, motivated and vibrant Food and Beverage Attendant to deliver authentic, attentive, and efficient service in the dynamic dining environment of Yamagen. Position Overview
The Food and Beverage Attendant is responsible for managing a dedicated section of the restaurant, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience that reflects the spirit and energy of our high-energy, fast-paced & award-winning restaurant Yamagen. This role requires strong product knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional and efficient service within your assigned section, embodying the premium yet approachable experience that defines Yamagen.
Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively with genuine hospitality.
Maintain a clean, well-organised section at all times.
Possess full knowledge of the Yamagen menu, including sake, Japanese whiskies, signature cocktails, and the full range of small plates, sashimi, and hot dishes.
Confidently explain dishes and beverages, offer thoughtful recommendations, and upsell where appropriate.
Follow food and beverage service policies and maintain alignment with brand standards.
Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Comply with all hotel and restaurant operational policies, including WH& S guidelines.
Maintain grooming and personal presentation to the highest standard.
Attend and participate in team briefings, trainings, and meetings.
Complete daily opening and closing procedures for your section.
Contribute to a strong team culture by supporting fellow staff and promoting a positive work environment.
Assist in other outlets or areas when required by management.
Perform additional duties as directed by your Team Supervisor, or Restaurant Manager.
