About the Role

We are looking for full-time and casual CDP’s and Demi Chefs to join the team at Pascale’s. Bring your skills, passion and knowledge for cooking premium local produce to the team. The restaurant offers delicious Italian flavours, expect a symphony of flame, flavour and finesse from the antipasto to the woodfired grill.


Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years’ worth of experience as a CDP or Demi Chef in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
  • Experience across different sections including pans, grill and larder.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain product consistent of all food serviced from the kitchen, following standard recipes and proper portion control across all outlets.
  • Prepare and present all required menu items—including sauces, soups, hot dishes, pantry items, and specialty dishes—with strong recipe knowledge.
  • Maintain excellent food storage, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
  • Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding professional personal grooming and positive team relationships.
