About the Role

Join the team at Pascale Bar & Grill at QT Melbourne as a CDP. Bring your skills, passion and knowledge for cooking premium local produce to the team. The restaurant pulls on flavours from Europe, cooking over a wood grill to serve up fennel encrusted tuna steak or wood roasted duck.


Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working in a similar restaurant, hotel or brasserie.
  • Knowledge of European cuisine and experience working on a wood-fired grill desirable.
  • Good communication, a team player and attention to detail.
  • Experience across the kitchen including larder, pans and grill.
  • The ability to train junior staff and manage a section.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistent and high-quality product across the restaurant and IRD offering.
  • Anticipate and attend to the guest’s needs and desires.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of menu items and acceptable degree of knowledge about food product.
  • Work well with other members of the FOH and Kitchen team.
  • Comply with all of the established hotel operational policies & procedures.
  • Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
  • Follow all WH& S procedures and allergen training.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by kitchen management
