About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and talented Assistant C& E Manager to join the team. You’ll bring energy, talent, and a guest‑focused mindset to deliver a range of events from weddings and celebrations to corporate functions. You will support with the leadership, execution and development of the C& E team, while motivating and maintain high standards. Assist in overseeing the day-today operation of all C& E across the hotel, while developing and learning from the C& E Ops Manager.


Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Assistant or Senior C& E Manager role within a high-volume venue with multiple event spaces.
  • Ability to deliver an excellent guest experience, focusing on service and team execution.
  • Assisted in managing a medium sized C& E team, with a focus on developing and training staff.
  • Maintain accurate stock control, cellar organisation, and efficient beverage inventory management.
  • Collaborate closely with the other departments across the hotel on event execution and delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, RSA requirements, and health & safety standards.
  • Uphold the hotels grooming, presentation, and service‑style standards.
  • Participate actively in team briefings, training sessions, and operational meetings.
  • An understanding of budget management, cost control, and P& L analysis for data-driven decision-making.
