We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer who is part of the team managing the DHL Express Global Aviation IT, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware and Nutanix infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Windows Server, VMware vSphere technologies and Nutanix and their related environments ensuring optimum availability, disaster recovery, security, and performance of the infrastructure within a global scope.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• Design, implement, and manage VMware, Nutanix and Windows server infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimum performance.
• Monitor and optimize performance of VMware vSphere, Nutanix and Windows Server environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Perform system updates and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and management to align infrastructure with business goals.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software updates.

Do you have what it takes?

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure administration and configuration.
• Proven experience in VMWare vSphere, Nutanix and virtualization technologies in general.
• Strong expertise of MS Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services, and their related environments.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and system architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell and Ansible or similar tools.
• Knowledge of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is a plus.
• Awareness of GDPR and IT security standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Independent, stress resistant and analytical.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
