We are on the lookout for a talented Master Planner & Detailed Scheduler to join our Global Planning team in Beerse. In this exciting position, you will take charge of executing the master and detailed production plans for the Beerse plant. This role presents unique challenges within a dynamic environment and offers you the opportunity to exemplify Credo-based decision-making while prioritizing both patients and customers!

The master planner is responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining a constrained weekly master production schedule (MPS) and managing the frozen horizon period for all possible production requirements (Scheduling, rescheduling, reworks, outsourced work-in-progress inventory);
  • Maintaining production plan at appropriate volume planning horizon (segment dependent);
  • Resolving manufacturing challenges and communicating the potential impact to key business partners.

The detailed scheduler is responsible for:

  • Updating and maintaining the actual production schedule within the appropriate scheduling horizon (segment dependent) in local scheduling tools and creating process orders as per schedule;
  • Ensuring an optimized production schedule for the products, lines and site handled in accordance to the latest customer demands and available capacity as well as downstream replenishment requirement.

Other key activities:

  • Performs site/portfolio Capacity Planning and site/portfolio capacity in terms of resources, shifts, equipment and shutdowns.
  • Maintains material inventories within target, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired products; develop overall inventory projections for specific products
  • Resolves any manufacturing conflicts for site/portfolio. Manages impact and communication of manufacturing driven changes
  • Communicates/hands over detailed schedule to manufacturing for execution
  • Ensures participation in new product launch meetings and new product forecasts as a business partner.
  • Collaborates and partners with operations to ensure accurate supply parameters (cycle times, set-up times, yield, throughput) and capacity parameters (total usable hours; target capacity, planned hours)
  • Building customer trust through unwavering attention to quality, safety, and social responsibility.

Experience and skills:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required (or equivalent through experience). Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge and in-depth experience of SAP/OMP+ is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify and resolve exceptions aiming to minimize supply disruptions.
  • Shown intuition for business in the area of Supply Chain and financials.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance speed of results and productivity or quality
  • Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships.
  • Ability to embed a culture of process improvement and value creation.

  • APICS and Green Belt certification is preferred
