This position can be located near Antwerp (Belgium), Madrid (Spain), Dusseldorf (Germany), Lisbon (Portugal), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), High Wycombe (UK).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Data & Insights (D& I) and Data Science teams to guide & facilitate architectural design activities that support our data & AI strategies
  • Act as platform owner of the Integration Hub, a platform and team designing, documenting and building integrations between applications
  • Act as the domain expert in Data & Integration architecture, guarding our data management & integration principles
  • Partner with build teams to ensure development is aligned to the proposed architecture, standard methodologies & principles.
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure solutions and integrations meet all security & compliance requirements
  • Support technology evaluations and conduct Proof of Concepts & Proof of Values to demonstrate innovative capabilities based on the needs of J& J IM EMEA
  • Partner and collaborate with global teams to define and improve the use of data architectures and existing assets
  • Drive roadmap discussions, and plans for an evolving Data & Insights and Integration solution landscape
  • Analyze current technologies & solution landscape within the company and determine ways to improve (in the domain of Data & Insights, AI and Integrations).
  • Engage with industry consortia, analysts, customers, and peers to stay abreast and drive and influence the direction
Qualifications

Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of (technical) experience with data & insights, data science or integration architectures in multiple projects and multiple technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with at least some D& I Platforms and Technologies like Snowflake, DataIku, Streamsets, PowerBI, Python, QlikSense, Alation and DBT.
  • Hands-on experience with Integration & API Technologies like Apigee, AWS Lambda, and SNS/SQS.
  • Experience in leading a team of integration experts.
  • Experience leading workshops and workstreams to conclusions.
Preferred:
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical processes, language, and terminology.
  • Knowledge about relevant compliance- & privacy-related topics (PII data)
  • Programming and system development lifecycle experience.
  • Global experience.
  • Knowledge of GenAI reference architectures.
  • GxP and HIPAA experience.
  • Knowledge of (SAFE) agile architecture.

This position may require up to 10% international travel.
