Job Description:

J& J Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Distribution Project Lead, located in Beerse, Belgium.

Within our team, we secure distribution across the full European Distribution Network, from manufacturing to our central hubs, worldwide distribution centers up to our final customers, our patients. We play a leading role in defining and maintaining a robust but agile distribution network for commercial Innovative Medicine products in EMEA and clinical products globally.

In the role as Distribution Project Lead, you are responsible to initiate, lead, and support network initiatives and projects impacting the end-to-end distribution and Value-Added Services activities of our Innovative Medicine, Advanced Therapies and clinical products. This includes but is not limited to; New Product Introductions (NPI), Divestitures & Acquisitions, distribution channel changes, network and process optimizations and introductions of new modalities by building and growing your personal network within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You lead and coordinate multiple change control projects for our distribution centers in Beerse and la Louviere
  • Responsible for KPI’s On-Time Launch, On-Time Shipped and Delivered for your projects
  • Secure flawless execution of GXP processes
  • You initiate and inspire improvement projects throughout the distribution network, including acting as change agent within the organization.
  • Secure safety, quality, process compliance and audit readiness.
  • Actively engage throughout the network and collaborate on end2end improvements across departments.
  • You inspire your team members to strive for the highest level of service through your enthusiasm.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering/supply chain/business
  • FPX, Lean Green Belt, APICS are considered a plus

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • + 5 years working experience in an international environment
  • Professional experience in logistics, customer service, manufacturing and/or planning
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead projects and grow within a role
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to influence without authority
  • Strong communication skills towards both the shop floor and senior management, able to lead in a diplomatic way.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Language: Dutch & English.

Preferred:

  • Analytical skills (data analytics, business statistics, PowerBI…)
  • Project Management and/or LEAN certifications
  • Experience with Pharma regulations, GMP, GDP
  • Self-starter, confident to work independently.
  • Pro-active and problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (eg. SAP)
