Your role:

Media Planner Benelux is responsible for the planning, execution, and tracking of media activities in the Benelux region, with a focus on digital direct-to-consumer and end-customer initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead Media Strategy: Develop and execute regional media plans, overseeing the entire process from planning and budgeting to performance tracking and optimization. This includes collaborating with brand managers to translate local strategies into effective media initiatives and aligning offline media with online/retail efforts.
  • Maximize Campaign Impact: Define campaign KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI. Advise brand and marketing managers on effective budget allocation across all media channels.
  • Partner with Agencies: Serve as the primary point of contact for media agencies, providing clear briefs, challenging proposals, and ensuring seamless campaign execution.
  • Drive Collaboration: Share best practices and collaborate closely with international, global, and affiliate digital and e-commerce teams to leverage insights and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Manage Social Media: Oversee social media communities, ensuring adherence to social media, pharmacovigilance, and brand guidelines. Monitor media trends and emerging technologies.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • University-level degree in Business or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in planning, developing, and executing digital direct-to-consumer media campaigns (agency or client side).
  • Fluent English, advanced Dutch.
  • Certifications or hands-on experience in GD360, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Marketing Expertise: Experience in the FMCG sector and a proven track record in developing and leading high-performing digital programs, including programmatic media buying. Retail media advertising experience is a plus.
  • Agency Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively oversee and manage external agencies and partners.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and lead without formal authority.
  • Results-Oriented Mindset: Customer-centric approach, a strong sense of ownership, and excellent organizational and project management skills, including prioritization and multitasking.
  • Language Skills: Knowledge of French is a plus.
