What you will do

The LEGAL MANAGER is responsible for providing full legal support to Latin America's (LAN) for Andean Region that includes Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. Responsible for execution of legal issues for contracting (Draft, negotiate, supervise, support, and close any kind of agreements), reports, audits, litigations (Draft, follow up, report, and monitoring), any other legal issues that includes legal management or Sox Process. Legal counsel on relevant projects in Regional projects. Responsibility of Plant legal matters. Also responsible for reviewing of labels, arts, and advertisement and marketing pieces those countries:

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager to provide comprehensive legal support to the Andean Region, which includes Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Legal Manager will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of legal issues, ensuring compliance with local and international laws, and supporting the company's strategic objectives while providing guidance to our internal business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Management:

o Draft, negotiate, supervise, and close various types of agreements, ensuring they align with company policies and legal standards.

o Provide legal support throughout the contracting process, from initial drafting to final execution.

2. Legal Reporting and Audits:

o Prepare and submit detailed legal reports and audit findings.

o Ensure all legal documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

3. Litigation Management:

o Draft legal documents and manage the litigation process, including follow-up, reporting, and monitoring.

o Represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate with external counsel as needed.

4. Legal Compliance and Management:

o Oversee legal matters related to plant operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

o Manage the legal aspects of the Sox Process, including internal controls and compliance procedures.

5. Project Support:

o Provide legal counsel on relevant projects within the Andean Region, ensuring legal risks are identified and mitigated.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support regional initiatives and projects.

6. Review and Compliance:

o Review and approve labels, artwork, and marketing materials to ensure they comply with local laws and regulations.

o Advise on legal implications of advertising and marketing strategies to prevent potential legal issues.

• Legal Manager will be responsible for providing legal advice to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador & Venezuela and will report direct to the Legal Director in charge of LATAM North.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
  • Law Degree (license attorney) or equivalent legal degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a multinational corporation.
  • Strong knowledge of law and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong writing skills (including spelling)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Soft skills.


Desired Qualifications

• Legal English desired.
