Sierra7 is hiring a Sr. Software Developer in Arlington, VA. This is a full-time position.

The Sr. Software Developer will shape the digital experience for critical federal systems. You design and maintain secure, high-performing Drupal platforms that serve important public missions. Your work directly protects sensitive data, ensures accessibility for every user, and delivers seamless content management capabilities. You join a mission-driven team where your technical expertise turns complex challenges into reliable, scalable digital solutions. This position is classified as Hybrid/Remote with the ability to go onsite in Arlington, VA as needed. Position Responsibilities Designs robust Drupal architecture and builds custom modules to meet strict federal standards.Secures platforms within SBU and FOUO environments to protect sensitive information.Optimizes platform performance and scales applications to handle high user traffic smoothly.Integrates APIs and content management frameworks using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.Manages version control workflows and executes automated builds, testing, code scanning, and deployments.Executes smooth rollback processes when technical issues arise.Ensures strict compliance with WCAG standards and DHS Trusted Tester requirements for accessible web development.Implements advanced content search, taxonomy, metadata, and analytics instrumentation.Automates workflow deployments and diagnoses complex problems across application, integration, configuration, and infrastructure boundaries.
