FREE Black Card Membership Job Summary Under the direction of the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) assists in overseeing daily club operations to ensure an exceptional Judgement Free Zone member experience while helping the club achieve its financial and membership goals. The AGM plays a key role in leading staff, maintaining a clean and welcoming club, delivering Raving Fans customer service, and supporting membership growth. The AGM also serves as the Manager on Duty when the General Manager is not in the building. The AGM performs all Shift Lead and MSR duties, leading by example through hands-on cleaning, customer service, and club operations Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Leadership & Team Support Serve as the General Managers primary backup, leading club operations when the General Manager is not on-site, following delegated priorities, and escalating matters requiring General Manager or District Manager (DM) approval. Assist the General Manager with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training Shift Leads and MSRs, coordinating with Talent Acquisition and HR and following required hiring approvals. Assist the General Manager with staff schedules and call-off coverage within approved staffing levels and labor budgets; submit schedule changes and overtime to the General Manager and/or District Manager for approval. Provide coaching and feedback and assist with corrective action process and escalate employee concerns as appropriate. Assist with employee training and development and follow up on training completion and delegated tasks. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment. Communicate important operational updates to the General Manager and team.. Follow company safety procedures, emergency protocols, and the Crisis Communication Plan. Document and report incidents, safety concerns, and employee or member issues promptly through company channels. Member Services Assist with all front desk operations, including answering phones, checking in members, and new member sign-ups. Monitor club access and ensure unauthorized entry is prevented per company policy. Accurately process Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, membership changes, and payments. Maintain accurate member records and documentation. Assist the General Manager with membership billing, freezes, cancellations, and collections within delegated authority; refer exceptions to the General Manager or District Manager. Assist in maintaining a consistently clean, organized, and safe club environment by ensuring routine cleaning and sanitization. Promptly report damaged or missing equipment, maintenance issues, and safety hazards to the General Manager. Troubleshoot equipment and complete assigned minor repairs and upkeep within the Assistant General Managers training; refer specialized work to maintenance technicians and remove unsafe equipment from service per company procedures. Follow the Lost and Found Policy by securing and documenting found property. Business Operations Support Assist the General Manager with Brand Excellence Review (BER) readiness, complete assigned corrective actions, and report unresolved deficiencies. Assist in tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other club statistics (weekly, monthly, and annually). Assist the General Manager in reviewing performance results and completing action-plan tasks, reporting progress or barriers to club goals. Assist in managing supplies and inventory within the club's budget. Support local marketing and community outreach efforts to help drive membership growth. Attend required meetings and help communicate company updates, train staff on new procedures, and implement club initiatives. Provide backup support for any employee who is absent. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Customer service experience in a high-volume environment with the ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and employees. Detail-oriented and analytical thinking with proven ability to problem-solve. Conflict resolution (employee and member) experience preferred Positive attitude with a passion for helping others. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). Satisfactory background check Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume environment.
