Maximus is seeking a Deputy IT Help Desk Manager to support work with a Health client remotely.

The Deputy IT Help Desk Manager will support the IT Help Desk Manager in leading the IT Help Desk team employees, including helpdesk support specialists. Manage internal and external timelines, coordinate and prioritize technical resources, and drive effective delivery. Recommend changes and improvements to processes and policies to optimize efficiency. Ensure IT team members comply with quality and customer standards.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust security clearance and is contingent upon award.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support IT help desk operations by analyzing service desk performance data and helping implement improvements that align with modernization objectives.
  • Act as a key liaison between help desk operations and development teams to ensure effective customer experience.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
  • 4 years of related work experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is required. An associate's degree + 2 years of work-related experience or a high school diploma/ GED + 4 years of work-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • Due to federal requirements, candidates must be US Citizens without Dual Citizenship to another country.
  • The ability to obtain, and maintain, a Public Trust clearance is required.
