Lead Delivery Driver to be part of our team in our Canada Dry Richmond, VA location.

Position Summary\n
The Lead Delivery Driver is responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company standards. This role combines hands-on delivery responsibilities with leadership duties, including training new drivers, supporting heavy routes, and acting as a liaison between delivery staff and management.

Key Responsibilities\n
Delivery Operations\n

Safely transport and deliver beverages to customers.

Load and unload products using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks.
\n \n- \n
Assist on high-volume or complex routes when needed.
\n \n

Customer Service\n
\n- \n
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
\n \n- \n
Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
\n \n
\n
Merchandising\n
\n- \n
Stock shelves, coolers, and racks to maintain product visibility.
\n \n- \n
Set up promotional displays in line with company standards.
\n \n
\n
Inventory & Record Management\n
\n- \n
Manage product returns and reconcile invoices.
\n \n- \n
Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and DOT compliance documents.
\n \n
\n
Vehicle Maintenance\n
\n- \n
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
\n \n- \n
Report maintenance needs and keep vehicles clean and organized.
\n \n
\n
Leadership & Training\n
\n- \n
Train, mentor, and support new delivery drivers.
\n \n- \n
Provide feedback to leadership on route performance and driver needs.
\n \n- \n
Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers and management.
\n \n

Safety & Compliance\n
\n- \n
Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
\n \n- \n
Ensure safe transport of all products.
\n \n
\n
Qualifications & Skills\n
\n- \n
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B or Class A with air brakes endorsement).
\n \n- \n
Minimum of 2 years' delivery or transportation experience.
\n \n- \n
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
\n \n- \n
Strong customer service and communication skills.
\n \n- \n
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
\n \n- \n
Ability to lift and move heavy products (cases, kegs, etc.).
\n \n- \n
Prior leadership or training experience preferred.
\n \n
